Kapha Dosha

The Kapha dosha is predominant in your basic nature. 

Kapha is known for maintaining the body’s resistance. This dosha is responsible for nourishment and lubrication. Those dominated by kapha are said to be thoughtful, calm, steady and their body tends to be heavyset and strong. 

To maintain a balance, you should practice gentle exercises, stimulating activities and an extra intake of fluids to keep the energy flowing. When Kapha is in imbalance, it can manifest in your body as excess weight gain, fluid retention and allergies. On a mental level, excess Kapha can lead to stubbornness and resistance to change.
